GIROS with SACADAS and ENROSQUES

Giros (pronounced Hiros) are basic turns. They can happen to the right, or to the left. They are the most complex of all the basic Argentine Tango steps. Focus on.

In these turns the connection between dancer's upper bodies is most noticeable, and the turns must be executed without any visible strain on the connection. They should be very smooth but still dynamic, with lots of energy. They mustn't look jerky...

Sacadas: The most common term for a displacement of a leg or foot by the partner’s leg or foot. Occurs when a dancer places their foot or leg against a leg of their partner and transfers weight to their leg so that it moves into the space of and displaces the partner’s leg.

Enrosques: These are all pivoting actions of the legs, with or without change of weight and crossings, which can often look like elegant ornaments, although they are not only intended as aesthetically pleasing figures. They were designed to help a smooth transition and stability of the axis in Giros, they are mostly executed by men, especially when more then one giros are being performed.

Efter lektionspasset på onsdagen finns det möjlighet att gå direkt till Tango Nortes onsdagspraktika i salen intill och fortsätta öva.

Betalningssätt:

1. POSTGIRO 429 31 73-3. Glöm ej att skriva namn och kurs på talongen !
2. Kontant på plats samma dag som kursen påbörjas.

Kostnad: 200 kr per person.
Max antal deltagare: 12 par.
