Dynamic Giros & Barridas

Giros are basic turns. They are the most complex of all the basic Argentine Tango steps. The connection between dancer's upper bodies is most noticeable, and the turns must be executed without any visible strain in the connection. They should be very smooth but still dynamic, with lots of energy.

Barrida is a sweep of the free leg from one place to another. The man will mostly do it to the woman, though the woman can use it in special moments. When they do they can produce a surprising effect for the man.

Nivå: medelavancerad. Intermediate Level

*NB: You will not get more value for money by booking above your level. Instead, you will pull down the entire group. Participants often complain that the pace is too high: a clear indication that they have signed up for a level which is beyond their ability.
