Milonga på Chicago!

Vi inleder med Drop-in Workshop 19.30 - 20.30 med Laura Audi och Julio Magalhaes på tema Musicality: how to dance rhythmic and melodic orchestras. WS:en kostar 180 kronor. Studentpris 150 kronor.

Serveringen öppnar 20.30 och kan erbjuda en fullständig meny med förrätt, huvudrätt och dessert! - vin, öl och flera alkoholfria alternativ finns också.

Det går bra att betala med kort och med swish (men inga kontanter).

Laura started dancing in 2009. She graduated from the Architecture and Urbanism School of the University of São Paulo, but since 2016 she dedicated herself exclusively to dance . She has performed in Buenos Aires and danced in European cities such as Porto, Barcelona and Madrid. In São Paulo, she gave classes at Escola de Tango Profissional and was part of the group of teachers at the Tango Education Program. In 2017, she was vice-champion at the Brazil’s Preliminary of the Tango World Championship in both categories where she competed: Tango Salon and Milonga. Julio, besides being a tango dancer and teacher, is also a psychologist. In Buenos Aires he studied Tangotherapy and the Ivaldo Bertazzo’s Re-education of Movement Method. Very active in the popularization of tango in Brasil, he was the organizer of several popular projects, the most important one being Tango in the street on Paulista Avenue. He gave classes at the public event Virada Cultural SP, in the Escola de Tango Profissional and was also part of the group of teachers at the Tango Education Program. Working together since 2017, Laura and Julio now have their own tango studio in São Paulo. They perform together at Cia. Tango & Paixão, the most important tango company in Brasil. Besides regular classes, they also supervise a tango study group for professionals of other dance styles and body arts. In 2019 they have been organizing the monthly Milonga Extraordinária at Tango B’Aires, and since 2017 have been co-organizers of the Prática Popular Las Tardecitas.
