Just a reminder to everyone who has booked classes, workshops or milongas at Tango 59 Degrees Stockholm City, during the 9th to the 14th of August: the Early Bird reductions apply if payment reaches us before the 1st of July – so hurry if you want to take advantage of the quite substantial reductions to the already very favourable prices.

We have had over 250 bookings already, but there are still places left. You can book 12-couple packages with all teacher couples:

There are also 8-couple packages available with Mazer/Farfaro and Paludi/Masso. These are currently full, but there are waiting lists for both of these 7-hour packages. We recommend that you book a 12-couple class just in case. Both Mazer/Farfaro and Paludi/Masso are exceptional teacher couples.

Lucia Mazer and Ezequiel Farfaro have visited Sweden before, but Ezequiel Paludi and Sabrina Masso are first-time visitors - check out their videos at the Tango 59 Degrees website at http://tango59degrees.com. The two videos show their amazing range of expression: from traditional, smooth salón to explosive new tango.

In addition to the packages, there are also 23 different workshops which can be booked separately. You do not need to buy a package to book for the workshops, though one workshop is included in most of the packages.

We also have the great pleasure to announce that CUARTETO TÍPICO SILENCIO will be playing at one of the five milongas. Last time they played in Scandinavia was in Copenhagen a few months ago, and the participants were raving about their playing at the milonga. They are one of the very few orchestras to play specifically for dancing. While they are in Stockholm, they will also give a daytime concert in the festival Café.

Milonga tickets can be booked separately at the website, and there is also a Milonga Pass. Substantial reductions apply if you also book one or more packages. Oh yes, and there will be an additional milonga on the evening of the 14th, for those of you who just can't stop dancing. This milonga will be hosted by Bajofondo (http://www.bajofondo.se) and will take place at the underground venue of Chicago. It will of course be a late-nighter.
